Karavani.bg - No-code marketplace platform for campings

Karavani.bg is a leading startup marketplace that focuses on outdoor activities and campings in Eastern Europe. It provides an easy booking process and  management dashboard for the owners of the campers. The platform had a proof of concept and the founder was looking to scale the marketplace to the next level using custom development.

The website built with Wordpress was outdated, broken, and could not allow for further integrations, which meant there was no option to scale. The team started with discovery sessions to map out the database architecture and user journeys and divided the platform into three stages starting with the MVP version. The team applied their 5 step process and in just 8 weeks, they were able to ship an MVP version that allowed owners to rent out and manage their bungalows or campers digitally and users to book and manage their reservations, all within the platform. By using Webflow for the front-end part of the website and custom building the user portals, back-end logic, and booking process, they were able to deliver a scalable platform in a short period of time at a cost of only 20 euros a month using cloud services. The project helped Karavani.bg impress investors across the world with the idea and traction.

By the end of this project, we were able to launch a scalable marketplace platform for Karavani before the season which helped the company meet the customer needs and position itself as the first marketplace for outdoor spaces in Eastern Europe.
